About Me

“I am committed to offering compassionate and personalized care to my clients. I am here to support you on your journey toward mental wellness, with a focus on understanding your individual needs and providing effective treatment options.”

I founded Hearts of Health, a practice that offers comprehensive mental health care services to the community. Our practice provides medication management and/or psychotherapy to help individuals achieve and maintain optimal overall health and well-being. I am deeply committed to your mental health, believing it to be just as important as physical health. I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where you can seek help with your mental health concerns. At Hearts of Health, we take a no-nonsense approach to mental health care and believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life.

I hold a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Texas and am dual board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC). Additionally, I completed a certificate program in Gerontology Healthcare. With years of experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice.

I am a firm believer in the transformative power of psychotherapy. It is a potent tool, enabling individuals to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Think of it as having a trusted guide who helps you navigate your inner world, providing a safe space to explore underlying issues and patterns. Psychotherapy fosters self-reflection and personal growth, empowering individuals to delve into their values, beliefs, and life goals and gain profound insights into their experiences. It facilitates positive changes and the development of healthier coping mechanisms and enhances communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intimacy in interpersonal relationships.
